TheManagerheading.jpgThe Manager is the official newsletter of the Michigan Local Government Management Association (MLGMA). City managers across Michigan contribute articles of interest to other city managers, municipal leaders, and anyone interested in public policy and local government. I currently edit the newsletter and manage the graphic content.

MLGMA is the professional association for local government managers from municipalities, counties, and townships throughout the state of Michigan. The non-profit organization is the Michigan section of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), and members follow ICMA’s code of ethics. MLGMA is affiliated with the Michigan Municipal League.

Sofamyspacelogo.jpgThe Indiana University School of Fine Arts (SoFA) Gallery publishes an annual newsletter with support from Friends of the SoFA Gallery. I wrote and edited most of the text included in the 2007 issue when I was the public relations gallery assistant at the contemporary art exhibition space. I wrote about all of the past exhibitions and events that the gallery held throughout the year, and I previewed upcoming exhibits.
